Her success has been built upon proven practices and methodologies to achieve leadership effectiveness, define strategic direction, engage employees and stakeholders, and create a culture focused on contribution and results. Time and time again, she has acted as an expert architect of sustainable, large-scale transformation.

Cindy now offers her expertise and wisdom to senior executives and their teams as a master coach and trusted advisor to enable higher levels of satisfaction and results. She combines her deep understanding of leadership development, adult stage development, and high-performance to guide leaders, their teams, and their organizations to achieve extraordinary results, meaningful contribution, adaptive capacity, and personal fulfillment. As a fellow traveler on the leader’s path, both personally and professionally, she is intimately familiar with the challenges that leaders face throughout their careers and the imperative that leaders face in today’s turbulent conditions.

In 1999, Cindy co-authored the book, The Whole Systems Approach: Involving Everyone in the Company to Transform and Run Your Business. (Provo: Executive Excellence Publishing) She also contributed to two editions of The Change Handbook: Group Methods for Shaping the Future (1999 - San Francisco: Berrett Koehler Publications) and Managing Quality in America’s Most Admired Companies (1993 - San Francisco: Berrett-Koehler Publishers).

Also an avid runner with a lifetime focus on personal well-being and fitness, Cindy is currently pursuing certification as an ACE personal fitness coach to more fully enable her clients to embody and connect to the metaphor that the body can provide for corporate “athletes” competing with the most elite in their fields.

As a partner and co-owner of Maxcomm, Cindy has worked with leaders from a wide array of businesses and industries including financial services, technology, manufacturing, utilities, and health care in both for-profit and non-profit settings. Some clients include Yale University, Cbeyond, Equitable Life and Casualty, Ameritech Information Services, GOJO Industries, First Security Information Technology, Inc. (Wells Fargo Services Company), Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (MichCon), 3M Health Information Systems, Novell, Inc., and The Genix Group.

Early in her career, and pregnant with her second child, Cindy completed a Master of Arts degree in Management, Human Resources, and Organizational Behavior, while working full-time to assist disabled and homeless populations toward their goals for self-sufficiency. Her mantra became, “The time is going to pass regardless, and when I look back I’d rather say I did it, than I could have done it.”

Cindy and her husband recently achieved a long-term goal of creating a gathering place for leaders known as the Leadership Retreat at Deer Hollow, situated in the rejuvenating splendor of the Wasatch Mountain Range between Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah. The couple makes their home in Draper, Utah, where they enjoy being active members of the community and spending time with their four children and grandchildren.
