Client ConfidentialityPolicy for maintaining confidentiality of client information Maxcomm, LLC holds all personal information under strict legal and ethical obligations of confidentiality. We do not use or disclose information that is given to us in confidence in a form that might identify a client (or other identifiable individual) without his or her consent. Clients have a right to expect that our services will hold information about them in confidence. This is central to the trust between the client and Maxcomm, LLC. Without assurances about confidentiality, clients may be reluctant to give information we need in order to provide high-quality services and care. Also, our confidentiality policy must comply with best practices and conform to the law, while at the same time supporting and protecting the client. The same principle applies to employee, colleague and vendor records. Maxcomm, LLC requires that all employees, colleagues and vendors sign confidentiality agreements. Vendors must sign a Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality Agreement on an annual basis, while Colleagues are bound to an Independent Contractor Agreement that has a confidentiality clause built into it. Employment contracts also contain the same non-disclosure agreement. Storage for confidential documents is locked at all times when access is not directly controlled or supervised. These secure conditions are also employed electronically — confidential files are password-protected and screens are locked when employees step away for any period of time. Confidential information is not to be discussed in the presence of those not bound by the same non-disclosure policy. |
